Electrician Apprentice Telecommunications Installation

Build electrical trade experience with Wesbell as an Electrician Apprentice in Mississauga, supporting telecommunications equipment installations. Travel is required for this full-time permanent position.

Wesbell seeks a first-, second-, third-, or fourth-year apprentice to assist Journeyman and Master Electricians. The work involves A/C electrical installations, electrical schematics, Ontario Electrical Standards, and telecommunications equipment. Apprentices read drawings, install wiring, and complete related electrical tasks under direction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Journeyman and Master Electricians with A/C electrical work
• Read drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications
• Install wiring, distribution switches, breaker panels, and conduits
• Install fire alarm components, Teck Cable, and service cables
• Support telecommunications equipment installation while travelling as required

Requirements:

• Be a first-, second-, third-, or fourth-year Electrical Apprentice
• Read and follow electrical schematics, diagrams, and blueprints
• Use high-voltage testing equipment and Electrical Code formulas
• Work with Greenlee benders, Teck Cable, and one- to two-inch EMT
• Maintain safety compliance, reliability, and strong English communication
