Facilities Operations Foreman Spruce Grove

Lead municipal facilities operations in Spruce Grove using maintenance coordination and field supervision. This full-time permanent position follows Monday-to-Friday hours.

The City of Spruce Grove seeks a Facilities Operations Foreman to direct trades and operations staff. You will prioritize work, coordinate repairs, oversee safety, and perform trained maintenance duties. The position supports municipal buildings and infrastructure across Facility Operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign work orders according to staff competency and skills
• Coordinate repairs with City departments and stakeholders
• Monitor progress and review completed jobs
• Oversee safe work and required safety assessments
• Provide technical support and mentor apprentices

Requirements:

• Certified Alberta Journeyman Certificate in a building-related field
• Five years’ Facilities Operations experience
• Two years’ leadership experience, preferably unionized
• Valid Alberta Class 5 license and acceptable driving record
• Knowledge of asset management systems and BMS programs
