Recycling Facility Team Supervisor

Guide recycling facility teams using safety leadership and quality oversight at Triple M Metal during continental rotational shifts.

The Supervisor reports to the Operations Manager and oversees team members, work quality, safety compliance, and operational reporting. This position supports a fully integrated ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal recycling enterprise operating across North America. Responsibilities include staff scheduling, training, performance evaluation, material inspection, equipment coordination, and collaboration with QES, Maintenance, Transportation, Human Resources, Sales, Finance, Accounting, and Payroll. Candidates should bring leadership experience, scrap metal knowledge, and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare schedules and approve vacation requests operationally
• Facilitate training for new and transferred team members
• Coordinate transportation and equipment service requirements
• Ensure shipped materials meet customer and quality specifications
• Collaborate across departments to achieve operational objectives

Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Superior ferrous and non-ferrous metals knowledge
• Strong delegation, organization, and prioritization skills
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, or equivalents
• Knowledge of Employment Standards Act, OHSA, and regulations
