Press Take Off Packaging Associate

Stack finished cartons and inspect quality at Smurfit Westrock’s Ajax packaging facility while supporting print production and machine setup. Work rotating 12-hour shifts, including weekends.

As a Press Take Off in the Print Cut department, you will stack cartons onto skids, perform quality checks, and assist operators and printers. The work supports beverage packaging for Coca Cola, Pepsi, Labatt, and Molson. Housekeeping and team communication help produce quality cartons. Previous manufacturing or printing experience is an asset, while willingness to learn is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Stack finished cartons onto skids
• Perform quality checks on completed cartons
• Assist operators and printers with machine setup
• Complete housekeeping duties in the department
• Communicate with teammates to produce quality cartons

Requirements:

• Manufacturing or printing experience considered an asset
• Willingness to learn and grow with Smurfit Westrock
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Ability to read safety rules and operating instructions
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 40 pounds
