Job description

Support U-Haul rentals by moving, hooking up, inspecting, and returning trucks and trailers while helping customers understand available services. Training is offered.

This Customer Service Representative position combines customer assistance with hands-on equipment service at a U-Haul center. Responsibilities include using U-Scan technology, installing hitches and trailer wiring, and filling propane. U-Haul offers certification for propane filling and forklift operation after employment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers
  • Install hitches and trailer wiring
  • Fill propane after receiving offered certification
  • Drive a forklift after receiving offered certification
  • Participate in ongoing U-Haul University education

Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license and maintainable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors
  • Ability to remain stationary and move around
  • Ability to position safely at varying heights
