Large Scale Events Culinary Manager

Direct food service for major events at Rogers Place, applying concessions operations expertise, culinary leadership, and efficient team coordination.

The Chef de Cuisine, Concessions provides direction to culinary associates during NHL hockey games, concerts, and high-profile special events. Reporting to the Director of Culinary, this position oversees food production, service needs, preparation standards, and guest inquiries. The successful candidate leads 40-60 team members while maintaining health, safety, sanitation, and customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct cooks and associates across assigned event operations
• Manage work schedules, breaks, service needs, and event readiness
• Train employees on menus, preparation, and presentation standards
• Complete temperature and waste logs for assigned stands
• Respond to preparation needs during ongoing event service

Requirements:

• Seven to ten-plus years in cooking, preparation, or culinary arts
• Large-scale concessions operations experience required
• Large events or live sports experience considered an asset
• Ability to give and receive instructions effectively
• Availability for varied shifts and operational requirements
