Shape AI-powered data platforms at BCI in Victoria or Vancouver, combining Databricks, Azure, Python, SQL, and analytical engineering.
This Senior Software Engineer creates the pipelines, models, applications, and agents supporting Private Equity teams. You will process investment documents, connect data through MCP, and build solutions with clear lineage, reconciliation, and validation. The work carries business and regulatory consequences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop pipelines and analytical solutions for reporting
- Build document intelligence over investment materials
- Automate file processing from fund administration feeds
- Create natural-language PE data access through MCP
- Maintain roadmaps, documentation, and delivery communication
Requirements:
- Minimum six years delivering production applications
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL
- Solid ETL/ELT, data modelling, and architecture foundation
- Hands-on Databricks and Azure stack experience
- Experience with transactional and analytical databases
Use data engineering, AI agents, and Databricks expertise to deliver trusted Private Equity solutions at BCI.
