Job description
Operate Hexagon CMM equipment in Calgary while programming PC-DMIS and inspecting machined components. This full-time schedule runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:00pm.
The CMM Programmer/Operator supports manufacturing quality through dimensional inspections and documented results. You will develop, modify, and execute programs using engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer requirements. The work includes first article, in-process, and final inspections, plus quality documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate Hexagon CMM equipment for dimensional component inspections
- Develop and execute PC-DMIS programs against engineering drawings
- Verify CMM results using manual measurements when appropriate
- Review results, identify nonconformances, and communicate findings
- Maintain inspection reports and quality documentation
Requirements:
- High school education or equivalent
- Two to five years of quality control experience
- Experience reading engineering and manufacturing drawings
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Criminal record check and controlled goods screening required
