Job description
Develop automated web UI tests with Trimble while connecting Playwright, Selenium, or related tools to navigation simulation systems.
As an Automated Test Engineering Intern, you will help strengthen software quality and system reliability through scalable test automation. The full-time, 16-month placement begins in May 2027 and is located in-office in Richmond Hill, Ontario. Your work spans frameworks, continuous integration, simulation scenarios, and end-to-end testing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Construct and deploy scalable automated web UI frameworks
- Connect automated suites with continuous integration pipelines
- Optimize navigation simulation workflows with engineering partners
- Run tests across web interfaces and simulation layers
- Provide detailed technical feedback on performance
Requirements:
- Study computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or related field
- Commit to full-time, 16-month placement
- Work in-office in Richmond Hill, Ontario
- Submit GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, or comparable code repository
- Use Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java with Git
Bring web automation coursework or experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, or Puppeteer to Trimble’s testing environment.
