Early Childhood Educator Assistant

Support young children at BrightPath Kids’ Queen Street, ON centre using classroom instruction and child-focused engagement. This is casual, supply, or substitute work with no evenings or weekends.

As an Early Childhood Educator/Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and families in a home-away-from-home environment. You will encourage children’s activity involvement, protect their well-being, and help maintain organized classrooms. The position also includes collaboration, meetings, and professional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities
• Interact with children to encourage participation in activities
• Maintain environments protecting children’s well-being
• Build collaborative relationships with families and coworkers
• Keep classroom materials clean and organized

Requirements:

• High school or equivalent education
• Early Childhood Assistant Certification or Registered Early Childhood Educator status
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and required health assessment
• Experience planning and implementing programs
