Our banking client is seeking an Intermediate to Senior Business Analyst to support payments modernization initiatives (Hybrid, Calgary/Edmonton AB)[-].

Overview:

Supports payments initiatives, primarily the delivery of a real-time payments rail, with a smaller share of sustainment work on existing money movement. Works with architects, developers, designers and business stakeholders on a medium-sized team.

Must Haves

• 6+ years as a Business Analyst
• 2+ years of experience in channels and payments, including payment products
• 2+ years of experience in the payments industry with knowledge of clearing and settlement
• Experience with API, web services and application and system design
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping and data analysis
• University degree in Computer Science, Business, Management, Human Computer Interaction or a related discipline, or an acceptable combination of education, experience and training

Nice to Have

• Working knowledge of SAP and/or core banking systems
• Strong analytical, research and problem solving skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, a results driven self starter and enthusiastic team player who wants to be part of a team dedicated to growth and continuous improvement

• Responsible for mapping current and future state payment processes
• Gather and document business and technical requirements
• Analyze data to support design and decision making
• Work with solution architects, developers and designers
• Support testing activities
• Engage business stakeholders across the program
