Food Service Preparation Worker

Prepare and serve meals while applying food safety, portion control, and sanitation standards in a hands-on food service setting. Support quality presentation from preparation through service.

As a Food Service Worker, you will prepare fruits and vegetables, carry food safely, and store items using established procedures. You will follow approved recipes, monitor serving temperatures, and maintain standard portions. The work also includes customer service, cleaning, supply distribution, and resolving concerns.

Key Responsibilities:

• Wash, peel, cut, and seed fruits and vegetables
• Carry food pans, kettles, and trays safely
• Store food using wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures
• Follow recipes, temperatures, and portion control standards
• Serve customers and resolve concerns with supervisors

Requirements:

• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage a heavy workload
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Good verbal and written English communication
• Physical ability to perform position duties
