Intermediate Software Developer ICBC

Build web and mobile-friendly applications as an Intermediate Software Developer with ICBC in Victoria, using Java, TypeScript, and cloud platforms.

ICBC’s Information Services Division seeks an Intermediate Developer for its applications team. You will enhance and maintain online tools used daily by teams, partners, and customers. The work includes coding, unit testing, deployment, production support, and technical delivery across medium to high complexity applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Code and unit test project and enhancement work
• Design, configure, develop, and deliver software applications
• Maintain application, design, and support documentation
• Investigate and resolve production application problems
• Review junior developers’ work and support Agile practices

Requirements:

• Three to five years of relevant software development experience
• Advanced Java, C#, Python, or TypeScript experience
• SQL, Git, XML, JSON/YAML, data modelling, and regex knowledge
• Experience with CI/CD, cloud, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Unit testing, REST APIs, Angular, and Agile experience
