Fresh Department Team Lead Walmart

Support Walmart Fresh departments with merchandising oversight, team huddles, and associate development at the Red Deer store.

As a Deli Bakery Team Lead, you assist the Fresh Coach and Store Management Team with daily execution. You assign associates, coordinate coverage and availability tasks, and monitor department presentation. You also provide direction, training, feedback, and customer assistance while supporting operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assign associates across store areas for coverage and availability
• Coordinate priorities communicated by Fresh and Store Management
• Review department presentation and identify corrective actions
• Lead shift-start huddles, set goals, and track productivity
• Partner on performance, growth, recruiting, and hiring conversations

Requirements:

• Be 16 years of age or older
• Ability to provide direction and coordinate daily tasks
• Ability to identify training opportunities with Coaches and associates
• Ability to follow Company safety policies and procedures
• Ability to support management through GTA and Workday tasks
