Job description
Build robotic control systems at 4AG Robotics in Salmon Arm, using C++ and hands-on testing across laboratory and farm environments.
This engineering student role contributes to large-scale robotic systems for agriculture. You will work with experienced engineers on automation, robotics, and controls. The work includes software development, PLC programming, system integration, troubleshooting, and validation of real robots.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain C++ code for robotic data systems
- Support control system integration and testing
- Modify PLC programs using Structured Text
- Build and test functional prototypes and subsystems
- Troubleshoot electrical, controls, and system-level issues
Requirements:
- Currently studying mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related programs
- Experience with C++
