Healthcare Housekeeper Cleaning Specialist

Maintain clean, orderly spaces through healthcare housekeeping, disinfection, floor care, and responsive emergency cleanup duties. This role supports safe daily environments.

As a Housekeeper, you will clean surgical procedure areas, washrooms, operating room tables, resident or patient rooms, and common areas. You will manage linen, beds, garbage removal, carpet care, and hard-floor cleaning. The work requires confidentiality, health and safety awareness, and immediate hazard reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and disinfect healthcare areas, equipment, surfaces, and fixtures
• Strip, wash, make beds, and fold collected linen
• Damp mop hard floors and auto scrub as needed
• Vacuum carpets and complete carpet extraction when required
• Respond to emergency cleanups and remove garbage

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience, preferably in healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Good command of spoken and written English
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds
