Quality Control Associate in Abbotsford

Become a vital part of food safety with the Quality Control Associate position at a leading food company in Abbotsford, BC. Focus on maintaining product quality and safety regulations while collaborating with various teams.
This role requires a hands-on approach to enhance product quality control processes. Reporting to the Supervisor, you will ensure compliance with food safety standards, conduct inspections, and manage product specifications. You will work together with Operations, Procurement, and Logistics to resolve quality issues while helping to provide safe meals for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct quality inspections on incoming and outgoing products
• Communicate non-conformance issues to relevant teams
• Monitor adherence to GMPs and allergen management
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and compliance
• Input data into QA tracking systems like Google Sheets
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Biological, Chemical, or Food Sciences
• 6 months to 1 year of QC/QA experience in food industry
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs and stand for long periods
• Understanding of food safety regulations
• Strong communication skills in English
