Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacy Technician

Serve customers at the centre of pharmacy care as a Regulated Pharmacy Technician with Shoppers Drug Mart. Work in a locally owned store.

This position supports prescription services, customer communication, and pharmacy administration within the Shoppers Drug Mart network. You will receive new and repeat orders, answer telephones, manage incoming faxes, process refills, and maintain accurate pharmacy system data. Customer expectations, privacy, and Pharmacy Standards of Practice guide your daily work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and gather prescription information promptly
• Receive new and repeat prescription orders
• Answer telephone calls and refer pharmacists when necessary
• Manage incoming faxes and file completed documentation
• Process refill requests and maintain pharmacy system data

Requirements:

• Provincial licensing college registration as required
• Pharmacy Technician College diploma
• Previous pharmacy experience preferred
• Effective organization and ability to multitask
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
