BMO Collections Account Specialist

Apply collections expertise and customer service skills as a BMO Account Specialist supporting high-risk and delinquent accounts. Handle customer calls and payment discussions.

This Account Specialist reviews delinquent, high-risk, and written-off accounts for collections opportunities. You will advise customers on payment strategies, products, and loss mitigation solutions. The work includes transactions, documentation, referrals, and collaboration across BMO collections functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review delinquent, high-risk, and written-off accounts
• Advise customers on payment and collections strategies
• Execute loss mitigation processes for non-performing accounts
• Handle incoming calls professionally and efficiently
• Process transactions, communications, documentation, and referrals

Requirements:

• Typically one to two years of relevant experience
• Post-secondary degree or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of consumer collections laws and requirements
• Knowledge of BMO products, services, and marketplace trends
• Good communication, organization, analytical, and collaboration skills
