Production Machine Operator Kitchener

Work across production machine centers at Columbia Forest Products in Kitchener, using material handling and quality check skills on dayshift.

This full-time Production Team Member position supports hardwood plywood and veneer manufacturing. Duties rotate across the putty line, spreader, hot press, and sander, alongside material handling, cleanup, and quality checks. The schedule operates Monday through Thursday, with an additional Friday schedule option.

Key Responsibilities:

• Rotate between different production job duties
• Work at putty line, spreader, hot press, and sander centers
• Handle materials in a manufacturing setting
• Complete quality checks and cleanup activities
• Perform similar manufacturing activities as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to work across various production jobs
• Ability to use personal safety equipment
• Ability to work around moving machinery and machine noise
• Ability to work around fast-paced forklift traffic
• Efficient, safe forklift operation is an asset
