Packaging Machinery Design Engineer

Shape packaging machinery in Mississauga with MPAC LANGEN GROUP, applying mechanical design and manufacturing knowledge to custom automation equipment. This interim assignment supports hands-on project delivery.

As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will develop machinery and integrate OEM equipment into turnkey automation systems. Your work includes detailed design, mechanical documentation, assembly support, testing, installation, and customer acceptance. Collaboration with designers, technicians, suppliers, and customers is required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop custom packaging machinery and automated equipment
• Maintain drawings, assemblies, layouts, and Bills of Materials
• Integrate OEM equipment and components into automation systems
• Support installation, commissioning, and customer acceptance
• Provide technical guidance across project activities

Requirements:

• Qualification in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline
• Five to eight years designing automated mechanical equipment
• Understanding of machining, fabrication, manufacturing, and assembly
• Proficiency with CAD software; Autodesk Inventor preferred
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
