Vinyl Products Packaging Operator

Pack vinyl products accurately on 12-hour rotating continental shifts, using specifications, quality checks, and sealed packaging for transportation.

As a Packer at Westlake, you will support production efficiency across an extrusion or injection line. You will prepare cartons, maintain piece counts, and identify defective products or equipment. The work requires communication, basic mathematics, and safe equipment use.

Key Responsibilities:

• Pack vinyl products according to the specifications manual
• Recognize, remove, and report defective products or equipment
• Prepare, seal, staple, and transport cartons for shipment
• Maintain piece counts and stack completed cartons for crating
• Keep work areas clear of scrap and maintain safety

Requirements:

• Availability for 12-hour rotating continental shifts
• Grade 12 or equivalent completed
• Good communication and basic mathematical skills
• Working knowledge of the packing process
• Comfort using air-operated equipment and lifting production
