Property Operations Maintenance Technician

Support property operations at The Queen’s Cue with hands-on maintenance, preventative care, and responsive repairs across Stratford’s hospitality destination.

As a full-time Maintenance Technician, you will help complete final pre-opening readiness and maintain the hotel, Boar’s Head Pub, and surrounding operational spaces. The position responds to guest and associate requests, completes inspections, protects safety, and escalates specialized concerns appropriately. You will work with hotel leadership, Front Desk, Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, vendors, and contractors. The role suits a reliable problem-solver who can prioritize urgent requests while completing planned tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with furniture, fixture, and equipment pre-opening readiness
• Respond promptly to guest and departmental maintenance requests
• Inspect public, meeting, event, exterior, and back-of-house areas
• Identify hazards, leaks, damage, and unusual equipment performance
• Maintain tools, supplies, storage, and spare-part inventory

Requirements:

• Practical experience in general maintenance or building operations
• Sound judgment about repairs requiring qualified specialists
• Ability to work safely on ladders
• Capacity for standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and reaching
• WHMIS, Working at Heights, First Aid, or trade training assets
