Mining Business Development Manager

Lead mining-market growth for ABB in a hybrid Business Development Manager position focused on strategic sales, customer relationships, and profitability.

As part of ABB’s Motion division, you will develop and execute the mining segment strategy. The role covers market penetration, major accounts, project pursuits, contract negotiations, and portfolio direction. You will report to the National Sales Director for BL Fluid & Material Movement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute mining segment growth and profitability strategies
• Expand relationships with mining customers, partners, and influencers
• Manage major accounts and strategic mining opportunities
• Support project pursuits, negotiations, and framework agreements
• Collaborate across divisions, regions, and sales organizations

Requirements:

• Minimum eight years of mining industry experience
• University degree in business, engineering, marketing, or related discipline
• Strong network among customers, consultants, EPCs, and stakeholders
• Experience in business development, account management, and strategic sales
• Excellent communication, negotiation, leadership, and collaboration skills
