Job Description

Location: Various locations across Ontario

MedicalLaboratory Scientists conduct complex tests and analyses to provide criticalinformation for patient diagnosis and treatment. They also oversee laboratoryoperations and mentor MLTs.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Perform advanced laboratorytests and analyses on biological specimens.
• Ensure the accuracy andreliability of test results.
• Develop and validate newtesting methods.
• Maintain laboratory qualitycontrol and compliance with regulations.
• Train and superviselaboratory personnel.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to discussfindings and implications.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in MedicalLaboratory Science or related field.
• Certification as a MedicalLaboratory Scientist (e.g., ASCP, CSMLS).
• Strong problem-solvingskills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communicationskills.
