Part Time Recreation Services Representative

Deliver front-line recreation customer service in Port Hope through phone, email, in-person inquiries, registrations, and transactions. Support programs, rentals, and events.

The Municipality of Port Hope seeks a Part Time Recreation Services Representative for its Parks, Recreation and Culture department. Use computer applications, customer service, communication, and organizational skills while supporting facility operations. ActiveNet knowledge and cash-handling experience are assets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to public inquiries by phone, email, and in person
• Complete registrations, admissions, transactions, and cash balancing
• Set up and clean up programs, rentals, and events
• Monitor patrons, capacities, schedules, safety, and facility rules
• Open and close facilities while supporting secure operations

Requirements:

• Secondary School Diploma preferred
• Computer software proficiency; ActiveNet knowledge is an asset
• Standard First Aid and CPR C
• Professional issue resolution and courteous communication skills
• Availability for varied days, evenings, and weekend shifts
