AtkinsRéalis is looking for a seasoned engineer with a minimum of ten years in CANDU systems design and a BS Honors degree in engineering. In this role, you will produce and review technical documentation, manage project timelines, and guide internal teams while ensuring compliance with engineering standards. Your hands-on experience will be crucial in fostering collaboration and addressing complex technical issues.
Key Responsibilities: • Create and assess I&C component specifications and designs • Manage schedules and enforce project deadlines effectively • Develop functional specifications and design description documents • Collaborate on drafting engineering drawings and connection diagrams • Handle vendor interactions for I&C component procurement
Requirements: • Registered Professional Engineer in Ontario • 10+ years of experience in nuclear I&C engineering • Proficient with CSA, IEEE codes, and nuclear QA • Experience with AS7/AS9 systems preferred • Security clearance for nuclear sites is advantageous
