HOME CHILD CARE PROVIDER

Mr. & Mrs. Burtney is looking for a home child caregiver to take care of their 3 children. Details are as follows:

Job details: Location – Uxbridge, ON L9P 1R2

Salary: 20.00 hourly / 40 hours per week

Terms of employment: Permanent employmentFull time; Day

Starts as soon as possible

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• 1. Follow parents’ lead with toilet training.
• 2. Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents.
• 3. Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties.
• 4. Travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties.
• 5. Wash, iron and press clothing and household linens.
• 6. Bathe, dress and feed children.
• 7. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents.
• 8. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
• 9. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children.
• 10. Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home.
• 11. Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
• 12. Prepare infants and children for rest periods..
• 13. Supervise and care for children.
• 14. Take children to and from school and to appointments.
• 15. Tend to emotional well-being of children.
• 16. Help children with homework.
