Security Officer Hospital Operations

Support safe hospital operations with EHN Canada through security response, foot patrols, and package coordination. Work alongside patients, staff, visitors, and the public.

As a Security Officer, you will help maintain a secure working environment across hospital operations. Your responsibilities include responding to service calls, conducting surveillance, escorting personnel, and assisting emergency evacuations. You will also support admissions, investigate routine incidents, and manage deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe environment for patients, staff, visitors, and public
• Respond to service calls appropriately and promptly
• Conduct foot patrols, spot checks, and surveillance
• Assist emergency evacuations and investigate routine incidents
• Coordinate package receipts, shipments, inventory, and delivery services

Requirements:

• Ability to identify safety hazards and take corrective action
• Ability to escort personnel between parking lots and buildings
• Ability to verify packages against purchase orders
• Knowledge of safe working practices and Occupational Health and Safety Act
• Ability to perform assigned duties in hospital environments
