Plate Roll Operator Brampton Afternoons

Operate four-roll hydraulic plate rolling machines at Brannon Steel in Brampton on the afternoon shift, using precision measurement and crane handling skills.

This experienced Plate Roll Operator position runs Monday through Friday from 3PM to 11PM. You will set up, operate, and troubleshoot equipment while reading drawings, including GD&T, and production documents. The work also includes inspections, documentation, basic maintenance, and moving steel parts safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate four-roll hydraulic plate rolling machines
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform basic machine maintenance
• Move steel parts and plate using overhead cranes
• Read drawings and measure finished parts against specifications
• Document quality inspections and completed work

Requirements:

• Plate rolling and strong overhead crane operation experience
• Skill reading part drawings, including GD&T
• Experience using basic and precision measuring tools
• Intermediate math and hand tool abilities
• Manual material handling capacity up to 23 kilograms
