Instructional Design Learning Specialist

Apply adult learning and instructional design principles at CGIC, creating courses, modules, eLearning, and training solutions for business needs.

As a Learning Specialist, you will support design, development, delivery, content management, and project work. This temporary full-time assignment lasts 12 months and follows a hybrid model, with two office days. English is required, while French is an asset. You will work within Underwriting and support initiatives connected with claims content management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine instructional methods and curate targeted learning experiences
• Design courses, events, programs, and learning modules
• Test learning technologies, industry software, and authoring tools
• Create training solutions and materials, including eLearning
• Modify solutions using evaluation results and feedback

Requirements:

• One to three years in learning and development or related work
• Related post-secondary diploma
• Current or progressing Chartered Insurance Professional designation
• Understanding of learning development, delivery, and design life cycles
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Use instructional design, adult learning, and authoring-tool knowledge to create effective solutions for CGIC learning initiatives.
