Production Assembler Hand Tools

Use hand tools, power tools, and measurement tools as a Production Assembler at S&C Electric Canada on the weekday day shift.

This Assembler – Vista position supports metal-enclosed switchgear assembly through repetitive production work. You will follow assembly instructions, meet department targets, inspect parts, and communicate with production support departments. In-house training covers basic blueprints and Bills of Materials.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow assembly instructions for mechanical components
• Use tools to secure parts with proper alignment
• Meet department targets and quality standards
• Maintain records of work and reported concerns
• Follow safety protocols and report hazards promptly

Requirements:

• Desire to learn electrical and mechanical assembly processes
• Ability to manipulate small objects precisely
• Ability to work independently on assigned requests
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Willingness to follow Health, Safety and Environment procedures
