Oil and Gas Field Operator

Operate oil and gas wells, facilities, and pipelines safely as a full-time Field Operator supporting Rocky Mountain House area operations.

Reporting to the Operations Coordinator, this employee position supports reliable production and efficient operations through monitoring, inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Cenovus Energy’s HSE Management System, regulatory requirements, and operational records guide daily field activities. Shift rotation and residence in the area are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor wells, facilities, and related equipment
• Perform inspections, maintenance, troubleshooting, and housekeeping activities
• Follow HSE requirements and applicable regulations
• Identify hazards and participate in emergency response activities
• Complete records and incident reports accurately

Requirements:

• Legal authorization to work in Canada
• Five to ten years of oil and gas operations experience
• Grade 12 diploma or GED
• Knowledge of Conventional Operations HSE programs
• Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
