Job description
Lead LensCrafters store performance with optical expertise, team coaching, and a current state Opticianry license in a full-time position.
The Assistant Manager supports the Store Manager and acts as a business owner within LensCrafters. This leader drives retail results, understands market trends, and connects Retail, Lab, and Doctor teams. The position combines management with licensed optical services for patients and customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support store plans that maximize sales and profitability
- Lead, train, and provide timely feedback to team members
- Support recruiting, selection, staffing, and talent development
- Maintain store appearance and execute visual directives
- Perform licensed optical measurements, adjustments, and eyewear dispensing
Requirements:
- Current and valid state Opticianry license
- High school graduate or equivalent
- One or more years managing direct reports
- Knowledge of retail operations, processes, and policies
- Strong communication, selling, learning, and problem-solving skills
Use licensed optical knowledge and retail leadership to deliver LensCrafters performance, patient care, and team results.
