Retail Sales And Checkout Associate

Support retail sales and checkout at Michaels in Truro, Nova Scotia, using customer service skills to help shoppers and complete transactions.

As a Service Team Member, you will create a fast, friendly checkout experience while helping customers locate merchandise and solutions. The work includes cash handling, Rewards and Private Label Credit Card enrollment, Voice of Customer education, and Custom Framing cross-training. You will also support stocking, recovery, and assigned store duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide friendly assistance while customers shop throughout the store
• Execute cash handling and deliver efficient checkout experiences
• Engage customers with Rewards and credit card program benefits
• Educate customers about Voice of Customer surveys
• Complete merchandise recovery, returns, stocking, and planogram processes

Requirements:

• Retail or customer service experience preferred
• Ability to remain standing and move throughout the store
• Ability to lift heavy boxes and access high shelves
• Ability to perform regular bending, reaching, carrying, and stretching
• Availability for nights, weekends, and early mornings
