Merchandising Project Planning Analyst

Coordinate merchandising projects at Vast-Auto Distribution using project tracking and planning skills within Eastern Canada’s auto parts network.

As a Merchandise Planning and Project Analyst, you will support the Category Management team’s operating rhythm. You will manage calendars, coordinate planning cycles, and prepare clear materials for category and cross-functional stakeholders. The work includes process documentation, project follow-through, and continuous improvement across merchandising operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own project calendars, timelines, milestones, owners, and status updates
• Lead planning meetings for product-related organizational projects
• Coordinate assortment reviews, planogram updates, and promotional schedules
• Prepare agendas, meeting materials, and post-meeting summaries
• Track cross-functional action items through on-time delivery

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• Two to three years in project coordination or operations
• Ability to manage multiple projects with detailed follow-through
• Strong written, verbal, and cross-department communication skills
• Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Office proficiency
