Mining Civil Engineer Project Lead

Lead civil design for mining, energy, and infrastructure projects in Mississauga, using earthworks and drainage expertise within a fully in-office environment.

As a Civil Engineer, you will guide general civil engineering activities for major mining and heavy industrial assignments. The work spans site preparation, grading, drainage, roads, paving, and large-scale site development. You will lead project teams, coordinate multidisciplinary design, and support project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead civil project teams through assigned project completion
• Design bulk earthworks, site drainage, and mine roads
• Own quality assurance and control for calculations
• Check drawings, calculations, and contract documents
• Coordinate project managers and multidisciplinary design teams

Requirements:

• Six or more years of civil engineering experience
• Mining, energy, or infrastructure project background
• Civil Engineering degree and P.Eng. designation or eligibility
• Leadership and project management experience on major projects
• Earthworks, grading, drainage, roads, and stormwater expertise
