Union Payroll and Benefits Administrator

Administer unionized payroll, benefits, and pensions with accuracy for the Thompson-Nicola Regional District’s temporary full-time team.

This Payroll Administrator position serves employees across the TNRD’s regional communities. Responsibilities include applying legislation, collective agreements, bylaws, and policies while processing payroll and employee changes. Experience with unionized payroll is an asset, as is familiarity with StarGarden Software.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply collective agreements and payroll legislation
• Enroll employees in benefits and pension programs
• Process leaves, terminations, and salary increases
• Review employee profiles and position changes
• Communicate benefit impacts to employees

Requirements:

• Three years of payroll administration experience
• Accounting Diploma and/or Payroll Compliance Certification
• Understanding of benefit regulations and procedures
• Unionized payroll experience considered an asset
• StarGarden Software familiarity considered an asset
