Job description
Kroll pharmacy software expertise powers this remote Pharmacy Assistant L2 role at CareRx, supporting prescription processing and long-term care communities.
CareRx seeks a Pharmacy Assistant L2 for its Pharmacy team, supporting long-term care homes and retirement communities. You will enter prescriptions and client information, process refills, and organize medication deliveries. The role follows a five-day workweek with weekend on-call rotation. Initial training occurs in Cambridge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter prescriptions and client information in Kroll
- Process refill prescriptions through Kroll pharmacy software
- Respond to nurses' phone inquiries with strong service
- Conduct third-party prescription billing adjudications
- Deliver prescription labels before scheduled delivery times
Requirements:
- Pharmacy Assistant experience or accredited program certification preferred
- Working knowledge of Kroll and eMAR systems
- Microsoft Office software competency
- Ability to operate PACMed and PACVision machines
- Strong numeracy, organization, communication, and multitasking skills
