Municipal Infrastructure Project Engineer

Lead hands-on municipal infrastructure design with PRI ENGINEERING in Kelowna, BC, supporting roads, water, sewer, and stormwater projects.

This Intermediate Civil Engineer position suits a licensed professional ready to manage smaller projects and grow toward senior project engineering. You will apply civil design standards, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and communicate with clients, municipalities, and approving authorities. Projects include municipal servicing, land development, site servicing, grading, drainage, and broader infrastructure assignments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform civil design and analysis for municipal infrastructure projects
• Interpret municipal, provincial, and industry standards and codes
• Coordinate geotechnical, structural, hydrotechnical, environmental, and survey disciplines
• Manage smaller projects with senior staff support
• Interact with clients, municipalities, and approving authorities

Requirements:

• Professional Engineer registration or eligibility in British Columbia
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Four to eight years of consulting design experience
• Strong technical, analytical, written, and interpersonal communication
• Ability to manage scope, schedule, and project budgets
