Optical Clinic Patient Coordinator

Coordinate appointments and prescription printouts while supporting eyewear services at FYidoctors Oshawa. This part-time clinic position serves patients Monday through Saturday.

The Patient Services Specialist helps deliver comprehensive eye care support and exceptional customer service. You will manage billing and payments, complete pre-testing, handle eyewear pick-ups, and perform minor adjustments. Strong computer skills, communication, and adaptability are important for changing priorities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate patient appointments and prepare prescription printouts
• Perform pre-testing to support comprehensive eye care
• Process clinic billing and patient payments
• Manage eyewear pick-ups and minor repairs
• Adjust eyewear and support additional clinic duties

Requirements:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion for connecting with patients
• Computer proficiency including MS Office Suite
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Previous retail experience considered an asset
