As a Steward at Banff Centre, your responsibilities will include operating the dishwasher, sorting dirty dishes, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness. You will prepare and store kitchenware while following the cleaning schedule specified by the Chief Steward. This is a critical support role that keeps dining facilities running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and maintain the dishwasher during shifts
• Sort and load various kitchen items into the dishwasher
• Clean and organize dish-room shelves and areas
• Adhere to the weekly cleaning schedule set by management
• Support banquet setups by preparing equipment
Requirements:
• Previous experience as a dishwasher, in both manual and commercial settings
• Ability to lift and manage up to 30 pounds
• Understanding of English for communication
• Flexible schedule availability, including weekends
