Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist

Support inventory solutions, customer service, and vending programs as a Vendor Managed Inventory Specialist in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

MSC Industrial Supply Co. seeks a full-time VMI Specialist for customer locations across the district. The position supports conversions, stock ordering, vending solutions, order placement, 5S equipment service, and expediting. You will work with sales associates and customer personnel while using company technology for daily tasks, ordering, tracking, routing, and event logging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support implementation of Vendor Managed Inventory programs
• Unpack shipments, verify accuracy, and put stock away
• Maintain customer stock levels and generate merchandise orders
• Provide customer feedback to sales representatives and supervisors
• Complete 5S housekeeping for service equipment and surrounding areas

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Computer literacy with word-processing and spreadsheet proficiency
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Over 80% daily district travel and occasional overnight travel
