Data Entry clerk

Our organization is currently seeking a part time experienced data entry person. You will be responsible for preparing, entering, and examining financial records / journal entries for our company in Syosset near the LIRR station.

Responsibilities

• Compute and record numerical data for QuickBooks
• Check the accuracy of business transaction in QuickBooks
• Perform accurate data entry and filing work

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an data entry or in accounting (preferably an understanding of retail)
• Very organized, detail-oriented, and hard working
• 2+ years experience using QuickBooks and excel
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must speak at least conversational English
