Food Safety/Job Prep Instructors

• September 2028 – January 2027 (3 hours/week for 8-12 weeks Saturday hours)
• $28.00 – $37.00/hour based on experience

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Related certification or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution
• Experience: Previous adult teaching experience, specifically working with Deaf adults and literacy learners
• Knowledge: about technology, Adult Learning Principles, and Skills for Success application in literacy development
• Technical & Delivery Skills: can tech classes either online or in person
• Communication: Fluent in ASL, written English and general communication skills, especially in diverse, multi-ability environments
• Interpersonal: Strong patience, understanding, and ability to work respectfully with individuals from various cultural backgrounds and abilities
