Job description
Support GDI facility maintenance services through floor care, carpet vacuuming, and washroom cleaning as a part time Light Duty Cleaner. Your schedule runs Monday through Friday without weekends.
GDI delivers facility maintenance services in Canada and the United States. In this position, you will clean assigned buildings, transport waste, replenish supplies, and monitor possible defects. The work calls for dependable service, energy, endurance, and the ability to follow health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain floors using manual and power scrubbing equipment
- Vacuum, spot clean, and shampoo carpets when directed
- Clean elevators, walls, doors, fixtures, and appliances
- Transport garbage and recycling to collection points
- Monitor possible defects such as clogged urinals and lights
Requirements:
- Experience with automatic scrubbers is an asset
- Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment
- Strong organization, energy, and endurance for assigned duties
- Dependable transportation for scheduled facility work
- Successful Criminal Record Check is required
Use floor care, equipment, and facility cleaning skills to maintain GDI client buildings according to established requirements.
