Senior Game Systems Designer Apex Legends

Design progression systems for Apex Legends at Respawn, using player feedback, telemetry, and clear system goals to shape long-term engagement. Electronic Arts seeks a Senior Systems Designer for progression and player systems. You will design rewards, mastery, collections, challenges, and player career features. The work spans concept, prototyping, implementation, iteration, and live operation with Design, Product Management, UX, Engineering, Analytics, Art, and Production partners. Key Responsibilities:

Design progression, rewards, mastery, collections, and engagement systems Prototype, implement, tune, and iterate using telemetry Assess design scope, estimates, and technical feasibility Partner with UX and Engineering on scalable player experiences Communicate design intent, tradeoffs, and recommendations clearly Requirements:

Five or more years designing shipped game systems Experience with live-service, multiplayer, or free-to-play games Strong text scripting and in-house prototyping skills Ability to use data for design decisions Strong cross-disciplinary communication and documentation skills Bring systems design, analytical thinking, and live-service experience to Apex Legends progression and player engagement at Respawn.
