Retail Loss Prevention Security Guard

Apply retail loss prevention expertise with Securiguard, conducting surveillance, investigating suspicious activity, and supporting customer service. Assignments may span Niagara Falls and/or St. Catharines.

As a Loss Prevention Security Guard, you will safeguard assets and minimize losses for Securiguard’s retail partner. The work combines CCTV review, premise patrols, incident documentation, conflict resolution, and collaboration with law enforcement when necessary. Candidates need customer-focused security experience and strong professional communication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safeguard retail assets and minimize losses for the client
• Review CCTV footage during security investigations
• Patrol retail premises to deter potential incidents
• Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary
• Enforce protocols and prepare detailed incident reports

Requirements:

• Valid Security Guard License and First Aid/CPR
• At least one year in a customer-focused security environment
• Professional daily and incident report preparation ability
• Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills
• Ability to conduct appropriate, sanctioned arrests
