Accurate vehicle deal posting and commission calculations define this Automotive Sales Accounting Specialist opportunity with Go Auto in Airdrie.
The Accountant supports vehicle sales accounting across new, used, wholesale, dealer trade, and fleet transactions. Working with the Controller and Operations team, this position maintains sales-related schedules, reconciles factory program money, and posts invoices in CDK. It also contributes to monthly financials and year-end audit preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Post vehicle deals across dealership sales categories
- Enter vehicle invoices and capture transactions in CDK
- Reconcile factory program funds to vehicle sales
- Calculate commissions accurately for payment
- Maintain schedules tracking sales team performance
Requirements:
- Experience as a dealership accountant or accounting support professional
- Recent accounting graduate candidates are welcome
- Comfort building and reconciling Excel spreadsheets
- Efficient, accurate, and timely paperwork processing
- Ability to collaborate and share insights in meetings
