Respiratory Therapist Pulmonary Function Testing

Deliver respiratory therapy services at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, using pulmonary function testing and clinical judgment in person. Work days, nights, and weekends.

As a Staff Respiratory Therapist, you will provide therapeutic, diagnostic, technical, and teaching services under general supervision. The clinical practice includes Pulmonary Function testing and adherence to professional standards. You will work within Respiratory Services while supporting patient care through communication, cooperation, and initiative.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide therapeutic respiratory therapy services under general supervision
• Deliver diagnostic, technical, and teaching respiratory services
• Perform Pulmonary Function testing
• Apply professional standards and the employer’s management philosophy
• Organize assignments with minimal supervision

Requirements:

• Respiratory Therapy credential from an accredited Canadian program
• Current registration with MARRT
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certification
• Complete in-house Pulmonary Functions training within one month
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
